Mosen Al-Sukhari, a former Police Officer was hired as a hitman, paid $2m (£1.28m) to kill Suzanne Tamim, a Lebanese singer, who was stabbed to death at her house in Dubai on July28th 2008 after a relationship with a previous boyfriend had soured. Moustafa was sentenced to death by hanging in May 2009 which was later overturned on a legal technicality. Engaged by Cairo lawyers, AVF was tasked with analysis and enhancement work on the available footage of the suspect Al-Sukhari in Dubai. Following a retrial in 2010, he was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment. Moustafa, the co- accused was released after 9 years in June 2017 after receiving a presidential pardon from President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
